Chapter 1 — Insensitivity and Infidelity

1167 words · ◷ 0

Sarah Mi-sook couldn't calm the pounding in her chest. She'd recently divorced, but until now, she'd never set foot in a hotel with any man other than her husband. And yet here she was, walking side by side with David—someone she'd met only three times, thirteen years her senior, forty years old—stepping into a hotel room as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

Was it curiosity? Or the giddy sense of freedom after leaving her marriage? Or perhaps the need to confirm, deep down, that she was still a woman capable of desire? Whatever the reason, she had agreed to meet him, and now she followed him obediently, wordlessly, into the room.

Inside, they undressed. She stepped into the shower, then lay on the bed, bare and exposed. David took his time, running his hands over her body with deliberate calm before bringing his mouth to her breasts. His lips closed around her left nipple. His tongue swirled, teasing the tip with a sensation like rolling silk—gentle, yet electric.

“How does it feel? Good?”

His voice was low. The bed shifted slightly beneath them, a soft ripple that stirred something deep inside her.

“It’s… ticklish… I don’t know how to describe it. Almost maddening.”

She answered honestly.

“Maddening, huh? That means you want stronger stimulation.”

“I’m not sure. It’s just this strange, tingling sensation.”

Without replying, he took her nipple into his mouth again—this time harder, deeper. His tongue coiled around it, repeating the maddening rhythm she'd just described. Then, just as she braced for it, his teeth grazed the peak—lightly, but enough to send a sharp, sweet jolt through her body. It was a paradox: soft yet intense, a series of delicate tremors that made her entire being shiver.

“Ah…”

A moan slipped out before she could stop it.

“What is it?”

“When you bite me… my whole body tingles. It feels… strange. Is that weird?”

“Not at all. It’s a perfectly natural reaction. When a woman bites my nipple gently, I feel that same thrill. It’s not so different.”

“You do, too?”

“It varies from person to person, but generally, yes. Men and women aren’t so different when it comes to sensation. Unless there's something unusual, both react in much the same way.”

This time, his lips moved to her right breast. He circled the nipple several times, then sucked it with the same slow, deliberate rhythm—soft, then firm, then soft again. Sarah Mi-sook clenched her throat, fighting back a moan that threatened to rise. She swallowed it, but the effort only made her tremble harder.

His mouth left her breasts and trailed downward. He paused at the gentle slope of her abdomen, his tongue flickering in tiny, precise movements. His lips pressed firmly against the soft skin just beside her navel—sucking, as if drawing something from deep within. The sensation was strange, almost invasive, as though his mouth were seeping into her.

He continued sucking as his lips slowly moved across her belly. They circled her navel, then crept upward toward one breast, slid down the curve to the other, then back down again. It was an odd, hypnotic rhythm—neither caressing nor licking, not quite biting, but unmistakably sucking. It felt as though a part of her body was being drawn inward, and that suction spread until her entire being seemed to pulse with it. Sarah Mi-sook drifted, lost in a state beyond control, beyond thought.

His hands, which had been resting on her upper body, now slid down to her thighs. He stroked them gently, moving from one leg to the other, applying the lightest pressure. Then, in an instant, his fingers slipped between her legs—slid right into the damp heat of her core, searching, probing, moving with urgent precision.

“Ah—!”

She gasped, unaware she'd even made a sound.

Most women, when first touched intimately by a man—unless it's a husband or someone familiar—instinctively clamp their legs shut the moment fingers enter. It's an unconscious reflex, a defense against vulnerability, a shield against shame.

But Sarah Mi-sook did the opposite. As his fingers touched her, she opened her legs wider, as if welcoming him, as if she'd been waiting.

Sarah Mi-sook had believed herself numb. She'd convinced herself she was frigid—insensitive. After multiple disappointing experiences, she'd accepted it as fact. Was it because her first time had gone wrong? The memory of that first penetration was nothing but pain and humiliation. Nothing pleasurable. Nothing she'd ever wanted to repeat.

Even in college, her boyfriend had failed to leave her with anything but discomfort. Whenever they were alone, his hand would slip under her skirt, trying to touch her. Each time she pushed him away, he'd leave without a word.

She'd never liked being touched. Perhaps it was the lingering trauma of that first painful encounter. She'd even believed she shouldn't marry—how could she condemn a man to a life with a woman who couldn't feel? It would only make him miserable.

And yet she married. Unable to resist her parents' pressure, she'd gone through a matchmaker, met her husband, and said yes. She'd clung to the hope that she might change, that she could learn to feel.

But it was useless. Her husband never satisfied her. She'd endured it, blaming his inexperience, telling herself to be patient. But nothing changed.

His sex was mechanical, dull. He showed no effort, no care for her pleasure. He came, finished, and that was it.

After six months, she ended it. She simply couldn't live like that. And what she gained from the marriage was only deeper pain—confirmation of what she'd always feared: that she was broken, numb, incapable of desire.

And yet now—wasn't she burning?

This man, introduced by a friend, touched her as if he wielded magic. His caresses, unlike anything she'd ever known, melted through her body, awakening electric thrills in every hidden corner. As his fingers moved inside her, rhythmically, insistently, she could no longer hold back.

“Oh god, I'm sorry… I'm going crazy… Ahhh…!”

David rose over her, pressing into her.

“Ah—!”

She twisted, crying out in a short, sharp scream. Whether it was her cry or her body's response, it ignited something in him. He groaned, hips beginning to move.

Sarah Mi-sook's breath grew ragged, matching his rhythm. Sweat poured from her, soaking the sheets. On his back, her fingernails left red trails, blood welling where the skin broke. And then, finally, her mouth fell open, breathless, voice reduced to moans—until a final, piercing cry tore from her throat, and her body collapsed, limp and spent.

When David rolled to the side, she remained motionless, arms and legs splayed, her naked body slowly cooling. Was she exhausted? Or simply stunned?

Only the slow, steady trickle of their mingled fluids, seeping from the depths of her, bore silent witness to the ecstasy she'd just discovered.

That day, Sarah Mi-sook learned the pleasure of sex from a man—and was reborn as a woman who finally knew how to feel.
