Chapter 3 — Her Choice - Part 1 (3)

I closed the bathroom door behind me with trembling hands, then slowly turned the inner knob.

David Yoon’s steady, soft snoring echoed through the silence. He wasn’t awake.

To me, that rhythmic breathing was worth more than gold—a guilty thrill pulsing deep inside.

The weight of betrayal settled heavily in one corner of my heart, while in another lurked a devilish joy. Strangely, though they felt nothing alike, together they amplified the intensity of my pleasure.

Ah… even as I cursed myself, my feet carried me back toward the bathroom.

Sarah Yoon stood naked, not looking back—whether from resignation or knowing acceptance, I couldn’t tell. She doused her heated body with icy water, shivering slightly, but didn’t turn.

“He’s sleeping.”

“What?”

“Yeah. Snoring. Fast asleep.”

“Poor David Yoon… must’ve been exhausted.”

After the tension had passed, Sarah Yoon’s bare body no longer glowed with the same radiant allure as before, but it was still undeniably beautiful.

“You don’t regret it?”

She asked the question casually, while I lingered, lazily admiring her naked form.

“Would you want me to?”

“Yeah… I do. I regret it.”

Huhu. “Why should I regret it?”

“I don’t know. I just… feel pain here.” She touched her chest lightly. “How heartbroken would David Yoon be if he found out?”

“You love him, then?”

“I don’t know. I’ve never really thought about whether I do or not.”

“Then why have you stayed with him all this time?”

“Because I needed a man.”

“So you’d sleep with anyone if you needed one?”

“No. But David Yoon treats me well. He’s kind. He’s different—he wouldn’t touch another man’s woman. He’s not that kind of person.”

Hrk… “Are you criticizing me?”

“No. How could I criticize you, Mr. Yeonsu? I think… I always knew something like this might happen someday.”

“Then shouldn’t you have been more careful?”

“What for? I wasn’t waiting for it, but… just now, it felt good.”

“To be honest, when I first touched you, I somehow knew you wouldn’t scream. If it had been someone else… what would you have done?”

“I don’t know. Probably screamed. My head hurts. Let’s not talk about this.”

“Yeah. Let’s stop. It’s not exactly a pleasant topic.”

“There’s another place that hurts.”

Sarah Yoon tilted her eyes upward, a faint smile playing on her lips—her gaze unmistakably inviting me to look lower.

“Where?”

“Here. I didn’t notice before, but now it stings.”

“It stings? You were wet enough—why would it be sore?”

She pushed her hips forward, making it easy to see. Sitting on the toilet seat, she opened herself with both hands.

Her inner folds, complex and swollen, were a vivid red.

“You look like a virgin.”

Huhu… “That’s exactly what David Yoon said too.”

“Does he suck you often?”

“No. He doesn’t like it. Even when I offer, he refuses.”

“What the hell? Why would anyone refuse something that good?”

“He’s innocent. Says it’s gross.”

“You don’t want it?”

“Sometimes… yeah.”

“And now?”

“No. Not now. Just thinking about having both David Yoon’s and your seed inside me makes my heart ache. I don’t want to go that far.”

“Why not?”

“Because if I did… I might start liking you too. And already, David Yoon loving me feels like too much to carry.”

“Don’t worry. I won’t ask you to break up with David Yoon and be with me.”

“I don’t want that either. Just… put it in again for a moment?”

“What?”

“I still can’t believe it. That I’m standing here naked with you in a bathroom, after doing that with you… it just doesn’t feel real.”

“All right.”

I stood up from the toilet, lifted one of her legs onto the lid, pressed my chest against hers, and held her close.

My already stiff member slid smoothly into her wet heat.

“Go deeper.”

I thrust my hips forward, trying to bury myself deeper inside her. She responded eagerly, tightening her thighs around me.

It was an awkward position, but the sex was fierce. The mirror fogged over with our heavy breaths—one feverish, the other rough and urgent.

“Uuuhhh… I’m going to…”

Before she could finish, she lifted her leg off the seat and thrashed wildly in the air.

Like a madwoman, her hips twisted violently, jerking forward and back, then recoiling as if trying to escape.

Each time she pulled away, I chased her mercilessly, pounding into her with even greater force.

“Ghk… I can’t hold it.”

Normally I’d last four or five times longer, but I couldn’t wait any more. I drove deep and froze, unable to move.

She grabbed my hair, pulled my face to her cheek, and clenched her lower body around me like a vise.

“Phew… We’re crazy.”

Huhu…

I couldn’t help but chuckle at her words. We were insane. Utterly losing our minds.

Who in their right mind could betray their lover and screw their business partner’s girlfriend right beside him?

“I’ll go first.”

I left the bathroom, dressed neatly, and stepped out of the motel, leaving Sarah Yoon behind as she walked into the room dripping wet.

The cleaning lady at the front desk gave me a strange look, her eyes lingering on my face.

“Have a good day.”

I nodded politely and turned away—my neck burning under her silent judgment.

I expected to hear a muttered insult or two, but perhaps she’d seen too many such scenes. There was nothing.

Not far away, another motel stood. After hesitating for a long while, I checked into a room there.

I took out my pager, placed it by the bedside, closed my eyes—and then suddenly sat up and turned it off.

A few minutes later, I turned it back on. Then again, after a short while, I removed the batteries and flushed them down the bathroom toilet.

After that, I never slept with Sarah Yoon again.

I never asked her if she’d tried to contact me that day. She never told me if she had.

We simply returned to being—just colleagues. A junior’s girlfriend. A senior coworker. Business partners.

When we drank together and got too drunk, David Yoon would suggest we stay over, but I could never accept.

I didn’t believe I had to discard that one dreamlike encounter as meaningless.

But I also didn’t want to recreate that situation again.

Sarah Yoon and I never spoke of that night—not once. And we never needed to.

Sometimes. Very rarely. I think back to that one night with Sarah Yoon.
If I had the chance again…?
Hmm.
Even I don’t know what I’d do.
